I'm after a bit of help if possible.
I started my studies in 2010 when it was the professional Development Scheme and completed People Management and Development and the Management research report.
Due to changing roles, I then took a break and when I returned to my studies the qualification had changed so I had to complete the 'transition program' to ensure I didn't have to start at square 1. So I completed:
- Skills for business leadership.
- Managing in a strategic business context.
- Managing & leading people.
At the point of taking these exams I had a 6 month old baby, so took a further break (maternity leave, and adjusting to my new busier life! lol) I was told that in order to achieve 'graduate' status I would just need to complete the 4 electives - Great!
I have today contacted the college to find out about starting the electives to be told the standards have changed again and I now have to complete 5 specific modules and I must start them before 1st July this year otherwise everything I have already studied will not count towards graduate status.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this? I don't have a lot of faith in the college getting it right and I'm starting to feel like I'm going to have to study hundreds of modules in order to qualify because the goalposts keep moving!
