Text Contrast

It might be my eyesight is not as good as it used to be or I need to calibrate my screen but I do find it hard to read the replies to a new thread.  To my eyes the contrast seems quite poor, ironically typing this out I have very clear contrast between the text and the background.

As no one else seems to be reporting the contrast do I assume everyone else finds the responses easy to read?

Hi . No one else has mentioned the contrast, but that's not to say you're alone.

I am noticing a difference in font size. The opening post - like yours - is easy to read. Some replies are a smaller font.

    What do others think?

The original posts, black on grey, are obviously slightly lower contrast than the ones on white. I know from my (somewhat ancient) dyslexia awareness training, that different people find different fonts/backgrounds challenging. I do find the white background easier myself, and have also noticed that some of the text sizes are quite small.

I have very poor vision, but can read the main threads as I'm using a PC with a large screen! I do however, struggle with the lighter font used in the box that appears on the RHS signalling related threads.

Just finished calibrating my screen, made things slightly better but still not that easy to read the text. Is it possible to give replies the same style as the original post?
