HR specialists Linzi Omar and Inese Teacher from leading recruitment firm Randstad will be sharing their insights on getting maximum value from the metrics that HR and payroll technology can produce.
Drawing on their own analytics journey, they will be showing how they identified the need for a HR system that could deliver configurable reporting. In a 30-minute showcase presentation, they’ll be sharing how they produced some of the first reports, before highlighting how their chosen HR solution, Cascade (stand H150) has enabled the continued evolution of their reporting capabilities. The showcase presentation will close by looking at the strategic business impact of the metrics they’ve uncovered. The aim is to power more effective decision making within HR teams and beyond, to drive bottom line business outcomes.
As a result of savvier reporting, Randstad has experienced a 5% decrease in labour turnover, an 18% rise in billing performance for new starters, and a 25% uplift in L&D spending due to the team’s ability to prove the ROI that would be generated.
Showcase attendees will be provided with a reporting ‘next steps’ pack to take away with them. Visitors to Cascade’s stand can also explore the technology’s reporting capabilities in more detail.

It enables objectives to be set and changed at any time and performance is boosted through regular one-to-one ‘check-ins’ and frequent real-time feedback throughout the year. Configurable performance reviews encourage future-focused developmental discussions.

The modular system includes Talent360, providing online 360 degree feedback and Talent Performance, their performance management software.
New SaaS platform elementsuite (stand H460) will be unveiled at the show. This specially-designed HR platform enables organisations to add functionality, and build up their HR capability over time by adding bite-sized chunks (or ‘elements’) as they go along.
It was conceived by CEO Steve Elcock, who founded IT implementation company, Succeed, and implemented large HR systems into organisations such as BT, Tesco and Morrisons.
“Unlike typical SaaS solutions, elementsuite is built on a unique platform which allows clients to extend and tailor their solution without losing the benefits of SaaS. It is designed to follow HR best practice, is simple and engaging to use, and is available as separate modules or elements to enable a ‘pick n mix’ approach to agile implementations.”
As well as taking part in on-stand demos with his team, Elcock will be speaking in a showcase session on employee engagement and the role of technology. He’ll be explaining how an employee engagement portal is only successful if it is ‘sticky’, and driving regular employee access, and that if this is done right, employee portal technology moves from being a simple efficiency tool to a truly employee engagement tool, elevating employees to motivated ambassadors of your brand.
Up until now Steve says elementsuite has been proving itself to high-profile clients including McDonald’s, Nando’s and Advent International. “McDonald’s has been using the system for the last two years, and is achieving spectacular results,” he says. “We felt now was the right time to reveal the software to the rest of the HR community by attending the show.”
Following last year’s successful launch of Office 365 for HR solutions, SharePoint HR specialists PointSolutions (stand H148) has built on this success. The PeoplePoint 365 app has evolved even further and now comes with the choice of eleven HR modules including Performance Management, Expenses Management and Organisational Charting.
Dave Bailey, Marketing Director at PointSolutions comments "Businesses can minimise the number of systems they use and so reduce costs and integration challenges and SharePoint is extendable, not just into R&O and LMS, but many other business process areas. The flexibility of SharePoint also allows HR administrators to make changes themselves without the need to rely on us."

Sunrise Software (stand H158) will be highlighting the launch of its newly updated HR Case Management (HRCM) software solution. The updated platform offers improved functionality and greater visibility to deliver a more consistent approach to HR case management
Leveraging its expertise in the IT service management market, Sunrise's HRCM solution builds upon the best practice principles utilised by IT service desks to help HR teams manage employee communications and the collation of critical data more effectively.
The web-based platform has been developed to meet the increasing demand for a solution that enables busy HR teams to have a consolidated view of all employee communications, whether these are logged via telephone calls, email or through the self-service portal. The improved case management functionality enables HR teams to remove the risk of duplication of information and communication with employees by ensuring queries are directed to and actioned by the relevant subject matter expert.
With the ability to manage long-term cases, and have a central repository for everything from grievances to maternity or paternity leave, the Sunrise HRCM solution provides a full audit trail of all communications.
Organisations can push case information to tailored dashboards for quick access of open cases, and pull trend reports.
