This Employee Outlook survey explores employer pay decisions; the basis of these choices as well as employee reactions to these decisions and bonus decisions; employee pay and bonus decision forecasts for 2015. The report also explores employee attitudes towards pensions, pension reforms and retirement.
In this Employee Outlook survey, produced in partnership with Halogen Software, we have identified that one in three employees report that their career progression to date has failed to meet their expectations and more than a quarter are either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the level of career training and development offered by their current employer.
This CIPD report examines how pay awards are linked with engagement, job satisfaction and relationships with managers. The findings are based on a sample of 2,153 working adults and the fieldwork was undertaken by YouGov between 13 and 23 June 2014. The figures have been weighted to be representative of the UK workforce in relation to sector and size, industry type and full-time/part-time working by gender.
This survey report, produced in parnership with Halogen, tracks a number of key indicators including employee engagement, employees’ attitudes towards their managers and performance management, levels of pressure at work and job seeking. This latest report shows a marked increase in negative perceptions of senior managers, with overall trust and confidence in senior managers hitting a two-year low. Trust and confidence levels are particularly low in the public sector and have potentially been influenced by the current unrest and strike action going on in the public sector.
