When people have clear learning goals, they learn more of what is relevant to them, they learn it faster and you, as a facilitator, have data essential to evaluation. This is very relevant to courses where people attend because they ‘feel’ instinctively that it will help them or they are ‘nominated’ for it by a well-meaning manager. But, without clear goals, they may miss learning points essential to them. This tool will help them clarify their learning goals quickly and accurately. As it is very participative, it is also a good start to a workshop.
