Performance management and your management style

We hear a lot of talk about management style and whether managers achieve better results when they are people-oriented or task-oriented. As you might expect, the truth lies in neither extreme. But neither does it lie in the middle. The key to an effective management style is flexibility along the range of people/task behaviours. This tool will raise participants' awareness of the need for that flexibility and of how to decide what behaviours are appropriate in which situations.
